January is a hard month to pay the bills...give yourself a raise next year by saving cash!!

We all know that January is one of the worst months when it comes to paying bills and trying to get ahead on  anything that involves money. Most of us have spent more than we earn during December and will have to play catch up on bills when we hit January. Here are some tips on how to avoid spending too much and start the new year on a better foot.

1. Consider making a new years resolution of saving money and start a few days ahead of the new year by eating out less and reduce your spending.
2. You can always not host a new years party this year and go out to someone else's home!
3. Consider finding more income next year while you cut expenses.
4. Just cut some expenses as finding new work next year will probably be just as hard as last year. Since work involves basically doing more for less in this economy it's really hard to win at so don't kick yourself.
5. Make some real changes to reduce spending. It's easier than you think!

Saving money is not really as hard as you think. If you put your priorities in the right spot you can get more cash out of your paycheck while giving youself more free money each month. It's how you look at it. Don't count on your boss to give you a raise....they most likely won't so start finding ways to save money by reducing your expenses.
